I am mainly influenced by my ongoing Relational Transactional Analysis training. I also draw from a range of theoretical approaches, including NLP and CBT.
I am interested in how our unconscious processes drive us into life situations that present us with conflict, pain and unhappiness. I am also interested in our relationships with ourselves, and with others.
I am interested in the ways women use and abuse food to manage their psychological issues. I believe that there is a strong connection between physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual health.
I consider how we work together to be as important as that which we work on. The nature of the therapeutic relationship between us acts as an arena for looking at your relationships in your life, and your relationship to life and health.
